Commercial Photographer Kent – Lifestyle Photo Shoot with Designer-Makers Auntie Mims
I have something a bit different on the blog for you today – a super fun lifestyle commercial photo shoot with designer makers Auntie Mims, based near Dover. I work as a commercial photographer in Kent and London but first met Auntie Mims founder and all-round superstar Michelle as a fellow student, when we attended a course together on business for creative start-ups. I did a couple of family photo shoots with Michelle, husband Peter and their five children and we always had a blast, so when I was invited along to their beautiful new workshop to hang out and photograph them for the day I knew I was in for a treat! They have a new addition to the family, their gorgeous (and super sweet!) Great Dane named Oakley, who I must admit kinda stole the show ;)
Michelle and Peter wanted some relaxed head shots, plus some fun, natural lifestyle shots of them at work and hanging out with their kids and Oakley the Great Dane at the workshop, to be used on social media and to refresh their website and online shop. It was really important to them that their personalities came across in the photographs. Family is at the core of what they do as a business, so it was awesome to be able to include the children and Oakley the dog in the shoot.
Auntie Mims make personalised wooden spoons, hammers, toys and other fabulous gifts – check out their website here, it’s gift-buying heaven! They can also be found on Not On The High Street. They make and engrave their range of products in their beautiful workshop space – a converted boiler house near Dover, Kent, complete with cardboard box dens and a scooter race track in the attic!
I’m available for lifestyle photo shoots and head shots with designer makers, and other creative businesses and individuals, across Kent and London – give me a call on 07841 457799 or email email@example.com for more info.
