What do you charge?
I like to keep my pricing simple – view my rates here.
Do you charge extra for travel expenses?
My fee includes travel (and accommodation if necessary) anywhere in the UK. For weddings abroad there may be an extra charge to cover some of my travel expenses, but this really depends on location and time of year.
Are you insured?
Absolutely – I have Professional Indemnity, Public Liability and of course Equipment insurance. I also have back up equipment in case the worst should happen on the day and I drop my camera in a pond or something ;)
Do you use an assistant or second photographer?
I’ve never felt the need for a second photographer although I have chosen to use an assistant from time to time, particularly at larger weddings. I prefer to photograph your wedding solo, which ensures that the results reflect my own unique style (which is what you’re booking me for after all!).
How long do we have to wait for our finished pics?
I’ll carefully edit each of your 350-400 finished images individually, and they’ll be finished within three weeks of your wedding day. I love to give you a little sneak peek at a few of my favourites before that though!
How many photos will be in colour vs. black and white?
There’ll usually be around a 60/40 mix with a bias towards colour. This is something we can discuss beforehand though if you’d prefer more of one or the other.
Do you provide albums?
I love Folio albums – they’re beautifully handmade here in the UK. I also design bespoke luxury photo books. I’ll show you some samples of each when we meet. There’s no need to decide what you might like until you’ve viewed your finished images after the wedding day.
What about videography?
Schryver Photo will be offering a full videography service from 2016. My awesome sister Katherine is already handling this side of the business, but we won’t be charging full price for her services until she has tons of experience and lots of sample wedding films that show you everything she’s capable of! Katherine has had full technical training in both filming and film editing, and the next year or so will be spent honing those skills and establishing her own style as a wedding film-maker. In the meantime, if you’d like Katherine and her video camera to come along to your wedding in 2014/15 we’d love for you to get in touch for a chat and further info on what we can offer.
How do we book?
The first step is to find out if I have your wedding date free, so get in touch as soon as you can by calling me on 07841 457799 or send an email to email@example.com. If I have the date available we’ll arrange to meet for coffee and cake. I’ll show you some sample albums and we’ll have a chat about your wedding and generally get to know each other! Once you’ve decided I’m the photographer for you, a deposit of £250 is required within the five days following our meeting to secure your date.
