North Kensington Family Photo Session With Toddler Freya | 30 Beautiful Photos Of Family Life At Home

A North Kensington family photo session from last summer (shot in that lovely little gap we enjoyed between lockdowns and stricter restrictions!).

Lucy and Chris invited me to their beautiful home for their North Kensington family photo session with them and their adorable daughter Freya, and of course their gorgeous Schnoodle dog Salvador. This North Kensington family photo session was so much fun – home sessions are my favourite as everyone is super-relaxed which allows me to get really creative with my photos!

Freya was super cute playing ‘tea time’ with her parents Lucy and Chris. I love the shot of Lucy blowing out the candle on the little cake! We also spent lots of time out in the garden. Freya carefully watered each of the plants in the family’s beautiful garden, and we also enjoyed chilling out in the outdoor seating area and running around with a giant strawberry! 🍓😆

Family Photo Sessions That Don’t Stop At Digital Files..

My family photo sessions are all about capturing those real life, ‘everyday’ family moments in epic and creative photos that you’ll love to hang on your wall or have printed in a gorgeous heirloom photo album. We all have tons of photos of our kids on our phones (yep, me included!) that we never get round to printing or doing anything with, and of course if you’re creating beautiful, printed family memories for your kids to look back on one day, you’re going to want to be in the photos yourself.

I book a professional family photographer myself once a year – our last session was with the fabulous Ayesha Photo – to make sure I have gorgeous photos of my daughter with me in them too!

Print photos!

I’m passionate about print. I always have been, but fully admit that this is something I haven’t always focused on enough with my clients. That’s all changing in 2021, and I have some beautiful new Wall Art and other print product samples in production as we speak, all sourced from the best luxury print suppliers in Europe.

So, it going to be all about printing your photos from your session from now on. Let’s get your beautiful new ‘Real Life’ family photos where you can actually see them! Whether in the form of stunning Wall Art, having lots of smaller prints in a beautiful keepsake box, or books and albums that tell the story of the snapshot in your family life that I’ve captured for you all.

What about the digital files..?

Unlike some other print-focused photographers I do have the digital files available to purchase from your session, so there is always the option to purchase those if you really want them! But I do so often talk to parents who got married a few years previously and still haven’t done anything with their wedding photos! They’re just like, on a disc somewhere… 😬

Viewing your finished photos

Rather than viewing your family photos in an online gallery a couple of weeks after your session and ‘guessing’ at which print products might suit you best, you’ll book an evening out for me to pop back and see you at home, where I can show you your finished, beautifully edited images of you and your family. I’ll also bring a lovely selection of the print products I offer for you to see in real life. There’ll be an opportunity for you to let me know if there’s anything specific you’d like to see.

I also have some super magic technology to hand which will show you exactly how different sizes of Wall Art (framed prints and other larger pieces) will look in your home! Framed images always look so much smaller once they’re up on the wall, so you’ll find this super helpful.
