Newborn Baby Photography in Ashford, Kent

I’m so excited to share this gorgeous newborn baby photo session with you on the blog today! If you’re looking for a Kent Newborn Photographer who can work with both children and animals, I’m most definitely your girl ;) Baby Nathaniel was joined by his two house bunnies for our photo session. It was so ridiculously cute having the bunnies involved and parents Amy and Lee are super happy with the results.

The Photo Session

Here’s what Amy had to say about the shoot:

“Helen did our newborn photo shoot recently and we couldn’t have been happier. I arranged the shoot before my son was born so the date was a guess. Once he was here (very late!), Helen made changing the date completely effortless.

On the day, Helen spent some time chatting with my husband and I and getting to know us before launching into the shoot. She checked out our flat and very quickly found the best room to be used in terms of setting and lighting. Helen didn’t stop snapping away and took photos even when I didn’t realise she was taking them! We had wanted to include our house bunnies in the shoot and Helen did this with ease. The entire shoot was very relaxed and when she left, we knew we were going to be happy with the images.

Viewing the Photos

We went to view the images at Helen’s flat (very easy to find). Again, this was very relaxed. We saw the photos on a large screen and then got to flick through them again on a MacBook. Helen explained the different packages she offered and there was no pressure to buy. We had already decided we were purchasing the digital collection and ended up going with the combined digital and print collection. We also ordered extra prints. There was no rush to choose which images we wanted printed.

The prints came two days later (much faster than we were expecting), as did the USB.

The entire experience was fantastic. We are amazed with our photographs. They are incredible and we couldn’t be happier with them. We already have in mind what we would like to do once our son is older for another photo shoot and it’ll be Helen we use when we do. If you’re looking for a Kent Newborn Photographer I cannot recommend her enough.”

My newborn baby photo sessions are relaxed and totally stress-free. The photo shoot takes place in your own home (with no need to tidy up beforehand, I promise!). Plenty of breaks are allowed for nappy changes, feeding and cups of tea ;)
