I just loved photographing this newborn baby photo shoot with baby Beatrice, her older brother and her two mummies. What a gorgeous family they make. I never saw a prouder older brother!

Same Sex Family Photography

I am sometimes asked about my approach to same sex family photography, and the answer is that my approach is pretty much the same for every family I photograph! For newborns, I just love to capture all the newness of those early days at home, when parents and siblings are just getting know their new baby, and vice versa. For families with older babies and children, it’s all about capturing the unique character of each individual as well as that special bond you all share. There’s usually lots of silliness, cuddles and laughter – with the odd tantrum or mishap (all taken in my stride of course!) thrown in ;)

Newborn Photo Sessions at Home in Kent & London

My newborn photo sessions take place in baby’s own home, and the entire experienced is designed to be really relaxed and utterly stress-free. There’s really no preparation required for your newborn photo session at home and definitely no need to Spring clean! My most heard comment at the end of a newborn photo session is something along the lines of “Wow that was so easy! Can you come back at bedtime?”!! I pride myself on making a connection with my clients, and after discussing the finer details of birth, feeding, lack of sleep and all the other delights of new motherhood I quite often leave the shoot having made a new friend :)
