I have a lovely family photo shoot in Whitstable to share with you on the blog today. As a Whitstable Family Photographer, this one of my favourite Kent locations for photo shoots (see my other top picks for Kent beach photo shoot locations here). This shoot was super relaxed and fun – I know Rebecca from a creative business course we took together a few years ago, and it was great to catch up and meet her gorgeous family. Rebecca and David invited David’s mum Catherine along to join in with the photo shoot, alongside their awesome little daughter Romilly. It was a treat to be able to capture on camera the special relationship between Catherine and her granddaughter.

Tankerton Slopes, Whitstable

We chose Tankerton Slopes as our location for this Whitstable family photo shoot. As a Whitstable family photographer I have my favourite spots for photos, and this is definitely one of them! Kids (and grown ups!) just loving running up and down between the rows of colourful beach huts, and there’s a lovely stretch of beach and promenade here too. The cafe at the top is recommended for a cup of hot chocolate afterwards ;)

The photo session experience is a relaxed and fun one – there’s no posing or saying “cheese!” required and little ones have a total blast!
