Welcome to my first post of my new Throwback Thursday series 😎 I’ll be delving into the Schryver family archives and posting some of my favourite photos from childhood, as well as some of my own photos – both personal, and of my lovely clients and their families – from more recent years.
Why? Because nothing adds value to a photo like time.. as months, years and decades go by our photos become all the more precious to us. It’s a bittersweet and nostalgic reminder of why we take photos in the first place.. to remember.
Looking through old photos makes me smile too, and that’s something I could do with a bit more of right now! (hello lockdown#2/winter/general sense of impending doom..).
(Full disclosure – I also have a list as long as my arm of past family photo shoots that I’ve never got round to blogging.. so this is a perfect excuse to post some of my favourite photos from those, too!)
We’re kicking off with a throwback to the most raucous Baby Shower I’ve ever attended.. back in the golden days when going to parties and dressing your mates up in loo roll nappies was the norm 👌 I love these smiles!
