I have just a few of my own personal favourite photos from this Folkestone Family Photo Shoot On The Beach to share with you today! This was my second photo shoot with this lovely family, and it was lovely to see how little Camilla had grown since our first shoot together. This was Camilla’s very first trip to the beach, which made it an extra special family moment for me to capture on camera!
Sunny Sands Beach Photo Shoot
We started off the photo shoot on Folkestone’s gorgeous Sunny Sands beach. One of my favourite locations for a Folkestone Family Photo Shoot on the beach! Do check the tide times for this beach before you turn up, as at high tide there is just a sliver of sand to play on. I’d planned ahead and knew the tide would be out, so we headed down there for some photos of Camilla enjoying her very first paddle in the sea, and some photos playing in the quirky tunnels at the back of the beach (also a great spot for some shade and rest from the sun!).
Documentary Family Photos At Folkestone’s Harbour Arm
We then headed to the wonderful Harbour Arm for coffee and some more relaxed, documentary-style photos of the family. Camilla loved sitting up on the wooden picnic table and ‘chatted’ and waved to the locals whilst we drank our coffee! We enjoyed a lovely walk along the beach afterwards, finishing up at the fabulous new freshly-painted beach huts in all the colours of the rainbows. The perfect colourful backdrop for some summer family photos in Folkestone!
