The Lockdown Babies Photo Book Project | Photos So Far (It’s Been Emotional!)

I thought I’d share a little update on how my Photo Book Project is coming along! If this is the first you’re hearing of it, here’s a little summary:

Photo Sessions With Lockdown Babies

I’ve been busy photographing families with babies under 1 for my (soon to be published!) Lockdown Babies Photo Book. These are babies who due to lockdown haven’t yet met (or at least had proper cuddles with!) their grandparents/aunts/uncles/cousins.

It has been super emotional! As a family photographer who specialises in capturing MOMENTS.. it doesn’t get any better than this. I feel very honoured to be able to photograph babies as they have those first post-lockdown cuddles with the people who love them dearly, most of whom they’re meeting for the Very. First. Time!!

Lockdown Babies Photo Book

Photos of each and every family will be published in a Photo Book in June. I still have a few more families to photograph, some of whom have grandparents abroad who they’ve so far only met through a phone screen. Those grandparents are hoping of course to be able to travel over here to meet their new grandchildren, hopefully after restrictions start to ease further in the coming weeks.
