Ealing Newborn Photographer // Baby Poppy At Home

I loved photographing this beautiful newborn photo session at home with baby Poppy in Ealing, London. I had the *most* beautiful light to work with, courtesy of an attic bedroom conversion with lots of daylight coming through those skylight windows!

Baby Poppy

Baby Poppy wasn’t overly happy being photographed on her own – she wanted Mum and/or Dad holding her most of the time. This of course wasn’t a problem at all, and I like that Mum and Dad are in most (nearly all!) of the photos. These photos will be all the more precious to Poppy when she grows up :) My newborn photo sessions are entirely baby-led, so whatever baby wants, goes!

Unsettled Babies

Newborns can be unpredictable. One day you think you’ve got them into a bit of a routine, then the next day everything changes. There’s no need to worry about baby ‘behaving’ for their photo session. I am very experienced in working with young babies and more often than not can settle them pretty easily with a swaddle and a bit of white noise (once they’ve been fed of course!). Just a couple of the many tricks I have up my sleeve ;)
